BUNGY® is an innovative elastic shock absorber for ropes, designed to reduce jerking, shocks, vibrations and sudden loads on mooring lines and onboard running rigging.
Easy and extremely quick to install directly onto the rope, it does not require a free end, only a small amount of slack. Made from weather-resistant elastic material, BUNGY® provides excellent stretch capacity and returns to its original shape without losing effectiveness over time.
Ideal for:
• permanent and temporary mooring;
• anchoring and buoy mooring lines;
• mainsail sheets;
• towing tenders and other loads.
Compact and practical: approximately 70 × 40 × 40 mm.
Suitable for ropes and straps up to 20 mm in diameter.
Recommended quantities for a 9 m boat:
• Permanent mooring: 4–5 BUNGY® units
• Temporary mooring: 2–3 BUNGY® units
• Mainsheet: 2 BUNGY® units.
For larger boats, add 1 BUNGY® for every additional 3 m of boat length.
